This is a collaborative effort to examine what is known, what is suspected but needs supporting research, and what remains to be discovered in higher education learning spaces work, with the goal of framing and pursuing a long term research agenda.

My dissertation, An Examination of the Impact of Institutional and Faculty Emphasis on Civic Engagement on Students’ Actual Civic Engagement and Civic Outcomes examined the relationships between institutional and faculty emphasis related to student civic engagement skill and behavior gains. I am continuing this work.
